Recruitment privacy notice
This notice explains how eData Advisory LLP (“we”) handles the personal information you give us when you apply for a role and take part in interviews through this portal.
What we collect
Your name, personal email address, mobile number and location; your education, skills, projects and certifications; for experienced professionals, your employment history, notice period and (where a drive asks for it) compensation details; your resume; answers to any drive-specific questions; your interview bookings; and the evaluations recorded by our interviewers. We do not ask for government identifiers such as Aadhaar, PAN or passport numbers. Date of birth is collected only where a particular drive requires it.
Why we use it
To assess your application, schedule and conduct interviews, communicate with you about your application, and keep a record of the recruitment decision. We process this information with your consent, which you give when you submit your application, and because it is necessary to consider you for employment.
Who can see it
Our recruitment administrators can see your full application. An interviewer sees your profile and resume only for interviews they conduct, and does not see your contact details, date of birth or compensation. Interview events are created in Google Calendar and conducted on Google Meet, so Google processes your name, email address and the interview time. Emails are delivered through our email service provider. We do not sell your information or share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep application records for the period set in our recruitment policy (currently 12 months after the last activity on a closed application), after which your personal information is erased automatically. Anonymous statistics may be kept longer.
Security
Resumes are stored in private storage that is not reachable from the web; access to your record requires a signed-in, authorised user, and downloads are logged. Connections are encrypted.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and withdraw your application by writing to careers@edataadvisory.com. If you withdraw consent we will stop processing your application.
